is extremely important to Edinburgh Speed Date. Your personal
details will not be given to anyone except with your express
consent. By registering for an Edinburgh Speed Date event you
are giving permission to Edinburgh Speed Date to forward on
your details (such as first name, email address and contact
phone number) to any participant you ‘match’ with.
Apart
from this, your personal details will remain confidential.
We will maintain this information in our secure database and
may use it to contact you with information regarding future
events. If you do not wish to receive these announcements,
please contact us and we will remove you from our mailing
list.
We will
not sell or provide your contact information to any other
organisations who may be interested in making unsolicited
contacts.

Edinburgh Speed
Date cannot be held responsible for the actions of any person
that you may meet through an Edinburgh Speed Date event. Edinburgh
Speed Date takes no responsibility for the actions of participants
at or after an Edinburgh Speed Date event. You agree not to
initiate any claim against Edinburgh Speed Date resulting from
either social or dating activities and agree to hold Edinburgh
Speed Date free from any liability.
Edinburgh Speed
Date reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual
who does not conduct themselves in an appropriate manner,
or who has not followed the guidelines given for conducting
events. In these circumstances NO refund will be given. To
participate in an Edinburgh Speed Date event you must be 18
years or older. Please do not attempt to register if you are
under the age of 18. We have the right to ask for proof of
age identification.
Edinburgh Speed
Date reserves the right to use any photos taken at any of
our events for advertising or promotional purposes. If you
do not wish for this to happen please notify us and we will
respect your decision.
**The Personal
Guarantee is limited to one free event only.
Refunds
Please understand
that planning for an Edinburgh Speed Date event is a very long
and time consuming process. It is most important that we know
who will be attending the event, in order to ensure that we
have equal numbers of men and women. Unfortunately, once a
ticket has been purchased, no refund can be offered for cancellation
or non attendance. Out of courtesy for our other guests, we
ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you are unable
to attend your invited evening, so that we have the opportunity
to invite a suitable replacement. Refunds may be given if we are notified at least 7 days before the event (less $5 admin fee).
